DEATH ANGEL Announce Hometown Gig

San Francisco Bay Area metallers DEATH ANGEL have added a hometown gig to their current itinerary. Tickets for the concert, which will take place on August 26 at Slim's, go on sale this Sunday, May 7. The group's schedule is now shaping up as follows:

Jun. 09 - Boardwalk - Orangevale, CA (w/ HOSTILITY, MUDFACE, IRRITANT)
Jun. 23 - Bang Your Head Festival - Balingen, GER
Jun. 24 - Graspop Metal Meeting - Dessel, BEL
Jul. 07 - House Of Blues - West Hollywood, CA (w/ ARMORED SAINT, FLOTSAM AND JETSAM)
Jul. 16 - Evolution Festival Toscolano Maderno - Brescia, ITA
Aug. 26 - Slim's - San Francisco, CA
Sep. 16-17 - Thrash Domination 2006 @ Club Citta - Kawasaki, JPN (w/ VENOM, SODOM, ONSLAUGHT)

DEATH ANGEL's latest CD, "The Art of Dying", was released in May 2004 through Nuclear Blast Records. The group's first studio album since 1990's "Act III", "The Art of Dying" was recorded at SF Soundworks studios in San Francisco, California with producer Brian Joseph Dobbs (VOIVOD, MANMADEGOD).
